A Higher Call - Adam Makos

Stories about war in the air during World War II from German and Allied Sides

German and American pilots and airmen remembering personal incidents of the war.

The book examines examples of good  men fighting each other until death.

Special rare times of combat and chivalry perhaps left over from WWI.

How Hitler and his Nazis (National Socialists) gained power in 1933 when twelve political parties divided the voting electorate.

They won with only 44% of the vote.    56% of of the country voted against them.

Of the 28,000+ German fighter pilots that fought in the war, only 1,200 survived the war.

An easy and good read. Well written.
